Volkswagen Canada has announced detailed pricing for the third-generation 2025 Tiguan, with standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive included on all models. Starting at $36,495 for the base Trendline, the completely redesigned SUV delivers premium features and technology at every price point.
The 2025 Tiguan lineup consists of four distinct trim levels, each powered by a revised 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 201 horsepower. Beyond the mechanical similarities, each trim offers a progressively enhanced package of features and appointments.
Trendline: $36,495
The Trendline establishes an impressive foundation with 17-inch "Shanx" aluminum-alloy wheels, LED projector headlights with Adaptive Front Light System, and KESSY keyless access with remote start. Inside, you'll find a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro and 12.9-inch infotainment display with rotary dial control. The cabin features a heated leatherette multifunction steering wheel and embossed cloth seats made from 20% recycled yarns.
A relocated gear selector frees up space for an 8-litre centre console, while two 45-watt USB-C fast chargers, wireless charging, and wireless App-Connect ensure your devices stay powered and connected. Two-zone Climatronic Touch climate control, split-folding second row seats, and a smart cargo floor enhance everyday practicality.
Comfortline: $39,995
For $3,500 more, the Comfortline adds 18-inch "Phoenix" alloy wheels, perforated leatherette seating, and an 8-way power driver's seat with 4-way power lumbar support. A power tailgate and four USB-C ports with fast charging boost convenience.
The standout feature is the new Atmospheres system that synchronizes ambient lighting with audio settings, creating a customizable environment with ten-colour interior ambient lighting throughout the cabin. A panoramic sunroof is available for an additional $1,500.
Comfortline R-Line Black Edition: $43,495
This popular "blacked-out" variant returns with distinctive 20-inch "Maya" black alloy wheels, R-Line bumpers and side sills with black accents, and a heated R-Line perforated sport steering wheel. Black exterior mirrors, roof rails, headliner, and a standard panoramic sunroof create a cohesive aesthetic. Illuminated door handles, brushed stainless steel pedals, and illuminated scuff plates add premium touches to the package.
All exterior colours now include a black roof, with Oryx White Pearl replacing Pure White as an option.
Highline: $47,495
At the top of the range, the Highline delivers a truly premium experience with a 15-inch infotainment display, harman kardon 12-speaker audio system with subwoofer, and satellite navigation. Genuine walnut open pore wood dash décor, a wrapped and double-stitched center console, and upgraded Varenna leather seats with ventilation, 10-point massage, and quilted stitching transform the cabin experience.
The Highline also features 30-colour ambient lighting throughout the cabin, heated rear outboard seats, Easy Open/Close tailgate, Park Distance Control with Park Assist, 360° camera system, and a Head-Up display.
Premium Value Proposition
All 2025 Tiguan models include a comprehensive safety package with ten airbags total, including four new airbags—centre, driver knee, and dual rear seat-mounted side. Driver assistance features like Light Assist, Side Assist blind spot monitor, and Travel Assist come standard across the lineup.
Regardless of which trim you select, you'll pay $2,200 for freight and PDI. The redesigned 2025 Tiguan will arrive at Journey Volkswagen of Coquitlam later this spring.
