The 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI comes with a performance enhancement over the previous model that makes it more fun to drive than ever with its sharp handling and dynamic driving characteristics. The turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine now develops 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, an improvement of 13 horsepower and 15 lb-ft. This engine can be paired with your choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The suspension was also reworked and it features stiffer springs and adjustable dampers in order to take corners with even more aplomb.

The 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI is equipped with more standard and available features than ever before, despite a lower base price which makes it more accessible. New for this year is Volkswagen’s digital cockpit that allows you to customise the instrument cluster display to show you all of the information you want to know at any given time.
